If a man does his best, what else is there?”
World is filled with such kind of people who feel that they have done best. Many a times we say the statement that “I did my best but….” If it would have been best why there are buts attached to the statement. If we wish to improve ourselves we have to think that we are doing better and not best. The moment we will think that we are the best in a particular subject we would really stop ourselves there and would never think anything above it. In short we are limiting ourselves.
Only way to improve ourselves is to see ourselves in the position of “BETTER” and not “BEST”. Once we start thinking that we are the best we would become lazy. As said by Benjamin Franklin – “A life of leisure and a life of laziness are two things.” We have to decide what we have to choose. We have to always strive ourselves to go one step further and should never stop ourselves by thinking that we have achieved the best. Till the time we are alive we have to strive for something or the other.

Birds singing the beautiful song
Sun and the Moon
Morning and the night
Lovely children playing
Dancers dancing to the tune
And many other things
Let us ask ourselves now some questions
Do we appreciate nature?
Are we too busy with the material things?
Do we think earn, work, eat and sleep are the only things to do?
Are we at peace?
Are we content because we have achieved the material things?
Most of the people get shaken up when they sit calmly and think about these questions. We may be excellent in whatever field we are. But the moment we feel that we have achieved everything and now we are the best. The problem will arise in very that moment. There will always be other thing to achieve. Keep striving for something better and don’t settle anytime in life. If a man does his best, what else is there?
