God has given you one face, and you make yourself another.

Tuesday, 21 January 2014

God has given you one face, and you make yourself another.

This quote is said by William Shakespeare in the book "The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark (A revenge tragedy) which is assumed to be written between 1600 and 1602. He narrated it as "I have heard of your paintings, too, well enough; God hath given you one face, and you make yourselves another: you jig, you amble, and you lisp, and nickname God’s creatures, and make your wantonness your ignorance. Go to, I’ll no more on’t; it hath made me mad.

This quote proves to be so true, especially, during these times where people have ditched there true inner beings and trying to pretend to be others. We are so used to follow others in order to impress the world around us that we forget why we are here.

God has created each one of us with a purpose. The purpose that He knows and He communicate to us, only if we are ready to listen to him. Also, He has given us the strengths and weaknesses based on the purpose for which He has created us. No two people are same. It is because everyone on this earth has come for specific purpose of the God and each one of us has the different purpose.

However, we tend to forget our duties and responsibilities. We run towards the path that are not meant for us. We try to be someone else in order to get the browny points of the fellow beings. No matter, if for this "someone else" we have to change ourselves, we happily do that. At the end (because we are not meant for that purpose) we are not satisfied and inner peace is destroyed.

William's quote spreads the wisdom of being yourself. In other words just be what you are. Stop Pretending. Say and behave in the way your inner sense ask you to do. There is no point to behave in the way other likes which is against your own happiness. Take a deep breathe and talk to your inner self. You are bound to receive the answers no matter how difficult the situation is. Once you receive the answer follow that path and just be yourself.

Albert Einstein Approach to Stock Market Investing by Gatis Roze

Albert Einstein famously said, “If I had one hour to save the world, I would spend 55 minutes defining the problem and five minutes implementing the solution.”   If you were in a life threatening situation and had only one hour before it proved fatal, what would you do?   Einstein said he’d spend his time wisely asking probing questions to understand the problem in depth.  Having done that, he’d only need 5 minutes to address the issue.

Many new investors I meet in my classes totally flip around Dr. Einstein’s approach.  They have an unstoppable inclination to jump right into the market, metaphorically speaking.  They’ll trade impulsively for the first 55 minutes and then allocate the last 5 minutes trying to figure out what just happened.

Humor me, please.  Just go with this.  Place your hands on the table, turn down the lights and let’s invite Albert Einstein to our seance to give us his advice.  If it was indeed possible to “channel” him, I suspect he would suggest approaching the market’s first 55 minutes more like this....

Albert Einstein’s Great Passion for Music

Almost everyone knows about Noble Prize winner Albert Einstein, the great physicist who developed the theory of relativity. His great intelligence and contribution to the world of science has even made the word ‘Einstein’ synonymous with the word ‘genius.’ But not many know that Einstein was an accomplished musician too. And that it was his great passion for music that played a vital role in the shaping of the theory of relativity.

Music - An important aspect of Einstein’s early life

Music played an important role of Einstein’s early life and his love for music was greatly influenced by his mother Pauline, who was an accomplished pianist herself. Einstein began to learn the violin at the age of six, whilst his family was still living in Munich, Germany. He was not too happy with his unimaginative violin tutors, and he found the lessons so boring that he once threw a chair at his teacher, who ran out of the house in tears.

All this changed at the age of 13, when he discovered the joys of Mozart’s sonatas. From then on, Music - An important aspect of Einstein’s early life.....
